Joined the Camp Sunshine staff in 1987.
Sally is a pediatric oncology nurse and worked in the hospital and clinic setting with patients and families before assuming the role of Executive Director of Camp Sunshine. She volunteered as a camp nurse at the first camp in 1983 and for five years, before becoming Executive Director.
Responsible for the oversight of all of Camp Sunshine's programs, fundraising and community relations.
Tenise Fernandez, Director of Special Events & Associate Program Director

Joined the Camp Sunshine Staff in 1999.
Diagnosed when she was 18 years old, Tenise is a young adult survivor of cancer. She started her days at Camp Sunshine as a Counselor in Training in 1988 and then as volunteer counselor for 10 years before formally joining the Camp Sunshine staff.
Responsible for Remember the Sunshine programs regional programs and special programs. She supports summer camp &, teen retreat programs.

Joined the Camp Sunshine Staff in 2005
Ann joined Camp Sunshine in September 2005 after a 19 year career as a Child Life Specialist at Backus Children's Hospital in Savannah. Ann has been involved with the Camp Sunshine Family Camp Weekend in Savannah for many years and served as Camp Sunshine's contact for families in the Savannah community.
Coordinates many of the family support, recreational and educational programs at Camp Sunshine House, the preschool programs as well as supporting family and sibling camp programs.
Chanteasea "T.C." Swain, Database Manager/Development Administrative Assistant

Chanteasea joined Camp Sunshine after years of experience in the Atlanta nonprofit community.
Responsible for the management of our database, gift acknowledgements and general office management. She is the friendly voice that will greet you when you call the camp office.
Brinsley Thigpen, Program Director

Joined the Camp Sunshine staff in 2006.
Brinsley joined the Camp Sunshine staff in 2006 but has been a long-time volunteer for our organization. Brinsley previously worked as an intern in our office and has held a variety of volunteer positions.
Responsible for summer camp, teen retreat weekends, other teen programs, and is also responsible for coordinating our volunteer staff.
Michele Rothstein, Program Director

Michele join Camp Sunshine in 2006 but has 13 years of experience working with children in camping programs. Prior to joining Camp Sunshine, she worked in both day camp and residential camp settings.
Responsible for family camps, sibling camp and the school age programs.
Terri Sexton, LMSW, Program Director/Social Worker

Terri began volunteering with Camp Sunshine and facilitating support groups at Camp Sunshine House in 2004. She is a licensed master social worker and worked at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for 7 years prior to joining our staff.
Responsible for educational and support programs at Camp Sunshine, including Family Night, Teen Group, Young Adult programs and individual counseling.
Lindsey Monroe, MNPO, Special Events and Public Relations Coordinator

Joined the Camp Sunshine staff in 2008.
Lindsey came to Camp Sunshine after working in the Atlanta non-profit community serving children and families since 2001. Lindsey's experience includes working with volunteers, planning and marketing special events and customer service.
Responsible for special fundraising events and for community outreach.
