It's college football season and time to kick off our Inaugural "College Football Pigskin" Golf Classic. This year’s golf classic will be held at the “The Georgia Club” in Statham. It is only 45 minutes from Atlanta off of Hwy 316 – go east towards Athens on Hwy 316 for 31.5miles- turn right on to Craft Road. Go .4 miles until Craft intersects with Barber Creek – Welcome Gate straight ahead.

November 12, 2006 Camp Twin Lakes Spin for Kids - A bike ride to benefit Camp Twin Lakes & its partners (Camp Sunshine). This event raised over $90,000 for Camp Twin Lakes and $6,000 for Camp Sunshine. Click here for more information.
November 17-21, 2006 Royal Caribbean Sovereign of the Seas Cruise - Royal Caribbean's Sovereign of the Seas cruise departing November 17th - thru the 21st. For each cabin sold during this 4 day 3 night cruise, $50.00 will be donated to Camp Sunshine.
October 6, 2006 Fourth Annual Chris Young Golf Tournament - Proudly sponsored by the Cedar Lake Golf Club (770-466-4043). All proceeds benefited Camp Sunshine.
September 23-24, 2006 HD Marine Bass Fishing Tournament - This fishing tournament was held at Lake Lanier. All proceeds benefited Camp Sunshine which raised over $80.000.
August 18, 2006 "Jeff Foxworthy with Banks & Shane" at Lake Lanier Islands - All ticket sales benefited Children's Healthcare of Atlanta & Camp Sunshine. This concert was a huge success as an event and brought in $50,000. Jeff Foxworthy with Banks & Shane
June 8, 2006 Brad Gambrell Memorial Golf Tournament - Fundraising golf tournament, benefiting Camp Sunshine, at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort, in Braselton, GA. This fundraiser netted $13,151. Thank you very much! Click here for more information.
June 20 & June 27, 2006 6th Annual Keencheefoonee Road Race6th Annual Keencheefoonee Road Race - Annual fundraising road race, conducted and ran exclusively by Camp Sunshine volunteers. This year's race resulted in over $90,000 in contributions.
April 18-23, 2006 Ford Tour de Georgia - We were honored that Camp Sunshine was chosen to benefit from the Ford Tour de Georgia t-shirt sales.

Ford Tour de GeorgiaOur very own, Keegan P., a 6 year old camper, won the t-shirt design contest and they will be sold all over GA during this premier professional cycling event.
March 11, 2006 Jog For A Cause 2006 - A 5K /10K Race and a 1 Mile Fun Run. Note that the 10K Is A Peachtree Qualifier. Jog For A Cause benefited Camp sunshine, Kylie's Corner and The Keira Grace Fund. To learn more, click here.

Feb 25 to Oct 1, 2006 MyoGenesis Race Team - With our very own Ron Williams

Former camper and present volunteer, Ron Williams and his cycling team called Myogenesis road in the 2006 Georgia Cup, a series of eight races. During this race, Ron's team solicited sponsorships and donations to benefit Camp Sunshine.

October 21, 2005 The Chris Young Golf Tournament - Third Annual fundraising event benefiting Camp Sunshine. This event is sponsored by the Cedar Lake Golf Club, located on 5720 Sharon Church Road in Loganville, GA and raised $7,000 for Camp Sunshine.
October 29, 2005 Grand Opening of John's Creek Medical Complex - Come celebrate the grand opening of the John's Creek Medical Complex and support Camp Sunshine. During the event, donations will be accepted for Camp Sunshine.
July 31, 2005 Hit a Homerun - Family event including a picnic, visit by Braves players Brian Jordan and Jeff Francoeur, and Braves game setting. This event netted over $10,000.
June 14 & 21, 2005 Keencheefoonee Road Race - An annual volunteer fundraising road race, exclusively for Camp Sunshine volunteers, to help raise money for Camp Sunshine. This year's race raised over $105,000.
"Heart to Heart" - This event was put on by the New Birth Church. This is the 3rd year that this event has benefited cancer-related charities and the first time it has benefited Camp Sunshine. A special thanks to all who help make this event a continued success.
May 2, 2005 GE Elfin Golf Tournament - This event was extremely successful. Camp Sunshine was presented with a check for $53,742. We are honored to be selected for the 9th year - this year the sole charity. A special thanks to Bill Price and Debbie Parks, as well as all the wonderful GE Elfin volunteers.
