Regional Activities are held throughout the state of Georgia for families to meet other families who are experiencing similar challenges in their own communities. Programs are varied and include recreational activities, sporting events, trips to local amusement parks, cultural events and more. You can see a color-coded map of each region here:
Annual programs for each region are as follows:
- Athens Region: 2 programs each year
- Central Region: 2 programs each year
- Columbus Region: 2 programs each year
- Northeast Region: 2 programs each year
- Northwest Region: 2 programs each year
- Savannah Region: monthly programs plus Sunshine 2 U at the hospital
- Greater South Georgia: 1 annual program
