  • Educational Seminars

    Educational seminars are offered periodically to cover a variety of issues related to childhood cancer, treatment or other issues important relevant to parents of children with cancer.

  • Parenting Through Illness

    This educational program addresses some concerns and challenges parents may face when parenting through illness. Topics include:

    • Developmental impact of illness
    • Coping with illness
    • Limit setting/boundaries/normalization
    • Sibling concerns
  • The Next Steps: Off Therapy Workshop

    Topics addressed at this educational program include:

    • Medical follow-up
    • Cognitive late effects
    • Family life after treatment
    • Helping your child transition
  • Back to School Workshop: Advocating for Your Child's Educational Needs

    This program designed specifically for parents will focus on what school services are available for chronically ill students and how to access them. There is a question and answer time specific to your child's needs. This program is in collaboration with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
