A weekend to remember the Sunshine.
Each year, we invite families who have lost a child to cancer to come back to Camp for a weekend to revisit a peaceful place where wonderful memories and friendships were made during their child’s life, and to connect with other bereaved families who have the fun and connection of Camp Sunshine in common.
This always poignant weekend includes a variety of camp activities such as fishing, arts and crafts, boating, softball, cooking and archery, some grief related activities and a remembrance service on Sunday.
”I would like to thank you for this past weekend. I have never felt so much love in one place in my whole life. The staff was very helpful, kind, polite and very concerned about everyone having a good time.
